STEP BY STEP ON HOW TO ORDER YOUR DIRECT MAIL PROJECT
STEP 1
Estimate
Click the link below to access our “Custom Quote” section and message us about your project. Include details like quantities, sizes, paper type, and mailing pieces. Upload a draft if possible. Specify your mailing option, such as presorted bulk, nonprofit, or first-class.
We will email you a quote for your review.
STEP 2
PAYMENT
Once the quote is approved, we will invoice you for the full amount, including postage. We accept all major credit card and bank transfer payments besides traditional paper checks. Please note, a 4% fee applies when you pay for postage by credit card. In this case, we will send a separate invoice for postage only. The other items on the invoice are not subject to credit card fees.
STEP 3
FILE SUBMISSION
Preferably, provide high-resolution PDFs for optimal print quality. Check our “file preparation” section for file format details. For address lists, submit an Excel file with columns for “first name,” “last name,” “salutation,” “company,” “address line 1,” “address line 2,” “city,” “state,” and “zip code.”
STEP 4
FROOFING
Our prepress team will analyze your files for crop marks, bleeds, and resolution to ensure print readiness. We’ll contact you if issues arise. You’ll receive a PDF proof for review, or you can request a physical proof for an extra fee. Keep in mind this may delay your mailing.
STEP 5
PRODUCTION
After proof approval, your order moves to production where our experts ensure quality using industry standards. Once printing is complete, our mailhouse team assembles and prepares your mailing for the post office with all necessary documentation.
STEP 6
ORDER LEAVES
OUR SHOP
After we drop off your order at the USPS sectional center facility (SCF), it will be distributed to your specified recipients. Delivery takes a few business days, but exact times can’t be guaranteed as they depend on the postal service’s schedule and workload.
